About Jon Kingston
I live in Queensland, Australia with my wife, son and boxer dogs. My family emigrated from the UK sixteen years ago and we are now all very happily settled in our adopted home country.
In my spare time, I am a keen photographer (though not a very good one) and I love to travel with my family, especially around Asia where I grew up and went to school as a child. A lot of the inspiration for my books comes from my travels, and the characters and situations encountered during these trips.
My passion for Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Horror began at an early age with Marvel comics (The Incredible Hulk, The Fantastic Four and of course The Avengers), and watching the original Star Wars trilogy endlessly, Alien (which stopped me from getting a good night's sleep for months), and the classic early Ray Harryhausen films.
